Just download the app and sign in with your Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account. We've already configured everything for you.

Download The Room Display

  1. 1. Download The Room Display from the Apple App Store to your iPad
  2. 2. Open the app — you'll see the setup screen

Choose Your Platform & Sign In

  1. 1. Select Google Workspace or Microsoft 365
  2. 2. Tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft
  3. 3. Sign in with your organization account and grant the requested permissions

Select Your Room

  1. 1. The app will automatically fetch all meeting rooms from your organization
  2. 2. Select your meeting room from the dropdown
  3. 3. Tap Save and you're done

Permisos necesarios

What Permissions Does The Room Display Need?

The app requests the minimum permissions needed to function:

  • Calendar Access

    View and manage calendar events (to display meetings and create bookings)

  • Room Discovery

    View meeting room resources in your organization (to select which room to display)

Note: Regular users can sign in with OAuth. You don't need to be an admin unless using the Service Account method. For Microsoft 365, an admin may need to grant consent for room auto-discovery — otherwise you can enter the room email manually.

Room Resource Propagation Delay: After creating a new room resource, there is a delay before it becomes fully accessible. Google Workspace can take up to 72 hours. Microsoft 365 typically takes a few hours but can take up to 24-48 hours. If your room doesn't appear yet, enter the room's email address manually during setup.

Your data is secure

  • All credentials are stored securely in iOS Keychain
  • All communication with Google and Microsoft APIs uses encrypted HTTPS
  • The app only requests the minimum permissions needed to function
  • No data is sent to third parties — all calendar access is direct to Google or Microsoft
